44th Annual Trout Lake Fair
July 31, August 1 & 2, 2009
On Friday evening July 31st there will be a free community potluck social at the Elk Meadows picnic area. Hamburgers, hot dogs, and soda are furnished and lively music will entertain.
Saturday morning starts with a Fireman's Breakfast at the school and 5K/10K runs starting at Jonah Ministries. Later in the morning, the parade will proceed from Guler County Park to Jonah Ministries where the afternoon festivities will continue. There will be children's games, bounce houses, face painting, races, cow milking, a timber carnival, a zip line, a climbing wall & maybe more. You will be able to purchase food at the food booths and listen to the White Salmon Jazz Band around noon. The Jonah gym and cafeteria will feature many displays: children's art, photography, sewing, cooking, etc. contests. The famous Trout Lake Quilters, quilt will be displayed. It along with gravel, hay, and firewood will be raffled. During the afternoon folks will be able to bid on item at the Silent Auction for Scholarships. Late afternoon goodies from the cooking contest will be auction, followed by the raffle.
Late Sunday morning we can be thankful for our blessings at the Community Church Service in the Jonah gym. Everyone is welcome.
