75 and 100 miles only
There will be an endurance ride at Mt. Adams on Saturday, June 21st; however, it will be a little different than in the past. It’s essentially a merger between Sunriver and Mt. Adams. In the spirit of Sunriver, there will only be 75 and 100 mile rides but it will be located at Mt. Adams. Think of it as a Sunriver Ride with a Mt. Adams foundation. Or you can think of it as a Mt. Adams Ride, with a Sunriver twist. Check the Sunriver Blog or contact Darlene Anderson (endrncmonkey@yahoo.com) or Stephanie Irving (sirving@gorge.net) for more information.
Ride Camp Location: The ride camp is located in Trout Lake, Washington.
Directions: From Oregon's I-84, take exit 64 (Hood River), go north across Columbia River, west on Hwy 14 for 1 mile, north on Alternate Hwy 141 for approximately 4 miles, continue north on Hwy 141 about 20 miles to Trout Lake. In Trout Lake, bear right at Chevron and follow signs into camp.
Trail: Ride through the forests above Trout Lake Valley in the shadow of a snowcapped 12,276-foot volcano. Excellent trails and old forest service roads. Good footing, beautiful loops, and views.
Vets: Vet-in starts at 3 pm, Friday, June 20th.
Registration Fees:
These will be the same as what Sunriver had originally planned. See the Sunriver Blog.
