Our Organization
In 1999 several residents of Trout Lake came together with a common goal of helping local students further their education by providing financial assistance. Based on this goal, Articles of Incorporation and By-Laws were adopted resulting in the formation of the Trout Lake Community Foundation. The Foundation is a non-profit corporation registered in the State of Washington and has Federal non-profit status. A volunteer Board of Directors governs, oversees fund raising projects, dispenses funds, and guides the future direction of the Foundation. The Board operates independently of the Trout Lake School Board. TIN 91-2010756

Our Mission
The primary objective of the Trout Lake Community Foundation is to provide scholarships for post secondary education and career training. The Foundation recognizes that further education is a necessity in today's world and that without financial assistance many students face difficulties in realizing their dreams. Recipients of the financial aid may be graduating seniors, students who need aid to complete their post secondary education, and community members whose situation warrants a career change.
